Josephine Angelini

When shy, awkward Helen Hamilton sees Lucas Delos for the first time she thinks two things: the first, that he is the most ridiculously beautiful boy she has seen in her life; the second, that she wants to kill him with her bare hands.

With an ancient curse making them loathe one another, Lucas and Helen have to keep their distance. But sometimes love is stronger than hate, and not even the gods themselves can prevent what will happen . . .

Josephine angelini, proves how creative an imagination can be. if i had the chance to talk to her I would want her advise about how to create a story that makes people want to jump into the world they create.
If you like a little bit of forbidden romance.... this is definitely the book for you.

i really enjoyed reading this book, at first i thought it was just like every other Fantasy novel, but it was different. it turned out to be way better, not just that there's a Girl and a Boy, they can't be toghether, the Girl has to save the world and in the end they get back together i mean the trilogy Kind of is like that, but there's this great plot around it, with all These things about the fates of the heroes, which were Chosen for them a Long time ago.

The moment I finished reading the entire set I thought,"yo twilight! move over." the entire story is incredible, a true page turner and brain teaser. i hated myself for falling asleep at that moment when the book is reaching another one of its escalating summits out of the hundreds in it, each time. still addicted, haven't stopped thinking about it since. she's got me hooked

The minute I picked this book up I knew it was going to be good. I love how as the story progresses, drama unfolds. It's such a good book! I also love HOw Helen is such a strong character because in most books, girls are seen as weaklings.

Before I began the book I was thinking it was going to be more of a romance novel rather than an action novel but I'd say it is a mixture of both. Love it!!

I have no idea where you post reviews so here seems as good a place as any!

When Helen and Lucas meet, she instantly knows she hates him with every fiber of her being and tries to kill him with her bare hands. Turns out there's a curse on them from the fates, but their love is enough to break it and open up a whole new can of worms.

This book was not at all what I was expecting, it had a very original take on the Greek Demi-Gods, and their Scions, dividing them up into four houses and including the fates curse, as well as the treaty with Zeus. I was prepared for some sort of Romeo and Juliet type story but I was gladly very very wrong.

The whole story is very fast paced and a lot happens within the first book, with plenty of cute little romance moments and plenty of twists and turns in the plot, including one plot twist that totally gutted me!

I really like books in a series, and when girls aren't seen as pathetic and can make choice that will change everything. Also I love romance but not to the extreme so this book seems like the most perfect for me because I can't find any other books that seem to have a romantic yet adventurous vibe to it. So, Yeah after I read this book I will write another comment on how I like it.
