We grilled Gina Blaxill on some of the more important things in life - find out is she's X-factor or The Voice? Red lippy or pink?

The Wanted or One Direction?

One Direction, because they have fluffier hair.

X-Factor or The Voice?

I’m more of a Strictly Come Dancing girl, but I did watch one series of X-Factor with my housemate (mostly and excuse to sit about and eat lots of ice cream) so I’ll answer X-Factor.

Made Chelsea or TOWIE?

I've never watched either but the five minutes of TOWIE my very Essex ex-housemate was watching once scared me deeply.

Summer or Winter?

Winter, for the scarves and cute knitwear.

Ketchup or Mayo?

Ketchup. There used to be a burger bar around when I was growing up which had a ketchup tap which I thought was incredibly cool and would consider getting one myself.

Nutella or Peanut Butter?

I’m very, very torn here. An exceptionally difficult question! Nutella and peanut butter are both things I avoid having in my house because I just demolish them. They’re that good. Overall, I have to go with Nutella. Nuts and choc in one!

Bikini or Swimsuit?

Bikini.

Socks or Sandals?

Socks, especially stripey ones.

Guinea pig or Hamster?

Hamster, out of loyalty to the two gerbils I used to own (kinda like hamsters, right?).

Pink lipstick or Red lipstick?

Red lipstick.

Prince Harry or Prince William?

Prince William, though I suspect Prince Harry would be better to invite to a party.

Lido or Beach?

The beach is better for lounging with a book, but I’d go with the Lido for swimming and less irritating bits of sand.

Bus or Bike?

Bus. The last time I got on a bike after not having used one for ten years it was very painful.

Bookmark or Page Folder?

Bookmark, especially pretty ones from Paperchase.

Ebook or Physical Book?

I’m so torn! Up until about two months ago I would have been “physical book all the way, e-books have no soul and are unreal and evil etc etc”. But then, after developing repeated shoulder ache from carrying big books in my bag (thank you, Game of Thrones), I brought a Kindle in a moment of rashness. It arrived. Half an hour later I was totally in love with it.

Hi Gina, Just wanted to say I loved your first book Pretty Twisted and I'm dying to read Forget Me Never - it sounds amazing!! I've got to say I agree with almost everything you said above except I love The Voice, and don't watch Stictly and I prefer Prince Harry cos of his ginger hair! I too love my kindle as books can get so heavy but they do look pretty on my bookshelf! :) Oh yeah, and loving the stripy socks!!

The Wanted or One Direction? To be honust, i'm not a big fan of either of them, although some of thier songs are okay...Going with One Direction though, because they have better looks. X-Factor or The Voice? The Voice-I prefer the judges, and The X Factor gets a bit boring after the first few shows with all the epic-fail contestants on there! Made Chelsea or TOWIE? I've only watch like, 5 minutes of one of them-Can't remeber which one because they're both equally irratating! Summer or Winter? Both, because in the summer you can go to the beach with your family and have loads of fun when i go out with my friends, but i also love winter, because Christmas is in winter and i <3 playing in the snow with friends and having snowball fights with my brothers! Ketchup or Mayo? Mayo! If it wasn't so fatty i'de have it with, like, everything! Nutella or Peanut Butter? Nutella-I'm not sure if i've ever actually tried Peanut Butter but anyway... Bikini or Swimsuit? Both! Socks or Sandals? Socks, especially fluffy ones! Guinea pig or Hamster? Guinea Pigs! Because you can pick them up and cuddle them, and some Hamsters don't like that. I have a Guinea Pig called Cuddles, and if i squeak loadly he'll squeak back :) Pink lipstick or Red lipstick? Both depending on the occasion. Prince Harry or Prince William? Not really a fan of either of them. Lido or Beach? Both! I love the waves in the sea, but i love Lido's because you can go there when its raining. Bus or Bike? Both, depending on distance. Bookmark or Page Folder? Bookmark. Ebook or Physical Book? I don't have an Ebook, but if i did i'de probaly say both depending on my mood. Facebook or Twitter? Facebook! I don't have Twitter, but some of my friends say its not as good as Facebook.
