I am frequently asked if the Demon Trappers series might be made into a movie or television series and if so, who would I want to play the lead characters. I have to admit my answers have changed over the years, but here’s where I am as of today. I’ve offered a couple of choices for some of the actors.

Every reader has their own vision of my characters and so my choices will not necessarily be yours. That’s what’s so fun about writing a book – the readers add just as much to the story as I do.

 

Riley Blackthorne

I’m still waffling a lot on Riley. I’ve changed my mind SO many times.

Daveigh Chase 

Shailene Woodley

 

Denver Beck

Who would play Backwoods Boy? That’s a toughie.

William Levy

Matt Barr

Garrett Hedlund

 

Ori

Jake Gyllenhaal (with long hair, of course)

Peter Facinelli (who knew he could look like this?)

 

Simon

Alex Pettyfer (he has always been my pick for Simon from the first)

 

Peter

Logan Lerman (Because he looks like such a nice guy, which is totally Peter)

Hmm i like that list, very good! For Beck i'd go with Matt Barr because the others look too pretty and Beck needs to look handsome with a dangerous look i think! :)

Glad you think Matt Barr would be a perfect Beck, I've been saying that for a long time and you know that =D I like your choice for Peter, I think he's perfect. I'm not sure about Simon, as I really can't stand Alex Pettyfer and Simon is too "perfect" to look like that. As for Riley, you know there is only one in my mind: India Eisley (Shailene Woodley's sister in The Secret Life Of An American Teenager). I can't picture anyone else for Riley's role.

William Levy is my Beck pick, but Matt Barr is very nice as well. I had a dickens of a time with Riley. Originally I started out with Emma Roberts and she just kept morphing. LOL India Eisley is a good choice as well.
