Is it your #WindfallLuckyDay?

Here at MyKindaBook we love the idea of 'random acts of kindness'. There's no better feeling than doing something nice for another person just for the sake of doing so. To celebrate the release of Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith, we're doing just that - find out how you can get involved.

If you haven't heard of Windfall, here's the lowdown:

Alice doesn't believe in luck, Alice believes in love. Mostly that she's been in love with her best friend, Teddy, for the last three years. When she buys him a lottery ticket for his birthday and he wins 32 million dollars, they are thrown together with the world at their feet. Teddy decides that he will spend his money committing random acts of kindness, and who better to go on that adventure with him than Alice? In the process they get to know themselves and each other better than they ever have before, but money can't buy you love . . .

Jennifer E. Smith is the author of novels such as The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight and This is What Happy Looks Like - we're delighted to publish Windfall!

Love is like a lottery, but kindness shouldn't be left to chance.

Make someone's #WindfallLuckyDay...

Unlike Teddy in Jennifer E. Smith's Windfall, we haven't got $383,000,000 to donate to strangers-in-need but we do have an unlimited supply of priceless kindness to spend.

To celebrate the release of Windfall, we're asking you to spend some of your kindness to make someone feel as though it's their lucky day.

Whether it's as simple as sharing a smile, or a huge grand jackpot gesture of kindness, we want to hear your random-acts-of-kindness stories.

Use Alice's lucky numbers (31, 8, 24, 11, 9, 13) as a guide and join in the conversation of kindness using #WindfallLuckyDay from Monday 8th May.
