Hayley Long

Hayley Long was born in Ipswich and grew up in the coastal town of Felixstowe. She studied English at Aberystwyth University and had such a fantastic three years that she almost forgot to do any work. Fortunately, she managed to pass her degree and at the end of her course she left with a life-long love of Wales and top-quality friends who she still hangs about with.

Hayley spent the next few years travelling and working around Europe then returned to Britain and became a teacher. In 2007, Hayley and her husband (and Irma the bunny) moved to Norwich – but before she went, she decided to write a novel for the pupils of Whitchurch High School where she had been working for the past 6 years. This novel is LOTTIE BIGGS IS (NOT) MAD.

Jody Barton loves music - especially The Doors - and What's Up With Jody Barton? is just full of songs.

'He was buff. Is buff. Will always be buff. And nom and peng and fit and hench and all those other words that the girls at school bandy about when they’re really just trying to say beautiful.'

Two twins – Jody and Jolene. Completely different. If being a twin wasn’t hard enough, both of them falling in love with the same guy is just going to make matters a whole lot worse! But to add to all of that is Jody Barton’s MASSIVE secret that nobody knows about. Hayley Long comes back again after her Lottie Biggs series with an AMAZING book! If you’ve read Lottie Biggs series, you’ll be getting twice as much excitement and joy reading What’s Up With Jody Barton! Everyone should be rushing to buy this book that has tons of laughter and a HUGE secret from Jody which is going to make your jaw hit all the way to the floor. I’m a huge fan of Hayley Long and wasn’t disappointed at all with What’s Up With Jody Barton! Every teen should own a copy of this book. I couldn’t put it down as soon as I got it! Such an easy book to read and I loved it. Highly recommended!

There are also ducks at the top of Gladstone Hill. Look carefully and you can see a couple of duck-type things building a nest at the foot of a nuddy statue.

As far as I can see it, there really is only one reason to ever do anything, and that is so that you can be pronounced QUEEN of something. For example, I fully anticipate that one day I will be crowned QUEEN OF BLABBING AT PEOPLE ABOUT BOOKS UNTIL THEY READ/REVIEW/LOVE THEM. That’s not too much of a mouthful really, is it?
