Join in our Almost Midnight readalong!



It's the most wonderful time of the year - no, not the festive holidays, but an excuse to buy a gorgeous  book! Almost Midnight by Rainbow Rowell is out on 2nd November, and to celebrate we're going to host a live readalong on our Twitter feed.
 
Almost Midnight is a beautiful gift edition containing two wintery short stories, decorated throughout 
for the first time with gorgeous black and white illustrations by Simini Blocker. Midnights is the story of Noel and Mags, who meet at the same New Year's Eve party every year and fall a little more in love each time . . . Kindred Spirits is about Elena, who decides to queue to see the new Star Wars movie and meets Gabe, a fellow fan.
 
Midnights was previously published as part of the My True Love Gave to Me anthology, edited by Stephanie Perkins and Kindred Spirits was previously published as a World Book Day title. 
 
You can join us from 9pm GMT on Friday 3rd November (we're not so much with the late nights on a Thursday!) - at @MyKindaBook, where we’ll be live-tweeting our favourite quotes from this festive short story collection until - you guessed it - almost midnight.
 
Here's all the details you need on how YOU can get involved in this one time only event - and how you might be able to WIN a copy for yourself. 
1. Grab the essentials - your favourite pyjamas, warm beverage, essential late-night  snacks and a device you can use to get your tweet on.
2. Start reading your copy of Almost Midnight anytime from 9pm
 
3. Tweet using the hashtag #almostmidnight (be sure to tag @MyKindaBook)
 
As a bonus, any UK residents using the hashtag will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one of  five copies of the book. See below for full terms and conditions.
